After dropping my EXPENSIVE Sonicare on the bathroom floor, I killed it. Not easy going back to a regular toothbrush once used to an electric. My teeth didn’t feel really clean as they did with the Sonicare. I grabbed a Crest SpinBrush at the store. It was inexpensive and I liked the dual action brush design.
I liked the inexpensive SpinBrush better than my Sonicare, which is very soft using a lot of vibration. The SpinBrush rotation worked great for stains and I do adore coffee! The back portion did well cleaning gums and crevices that may be missed by the rotating top. It worked great cleaning my tongue, where the Sonicare was too soft needing a regular toothbrush.
I was thrilled that a ten dollar battery operated toothbrush saved me quite a lot of money I was expecting to spend replacing it. I was not very happy with the SpinBrush for long. I’m not sure how to brush my teeth and clean the brush making sure I keep the hand portion completely dry. My SpinBrush didn’t make it two months.
The SpinBrush works great only for the brief time it will work. Given the nature of oral hygiene requires water and toothpaste foams while brushing, the manufacture is poor. Water, foamy toothpaste runs down while brushing entering through the unprotected on/off switch and the bottom portion for batteries.
I found the Oral-B Vitality Rechargeable to be the better choice after doing a little research. The Vitality is the basic model under and you don’t have to spend a dime more. There are higher end models costing over 0, but all the replacement brushes are interchangeable. I don’t require beeps in order to correctly brush my teeth or an electronic sensor that tells you when you use too much or too little pressure.

This toothbrush has been fantastic at under . There are several choices of brushes being the exact same ones used on the high end Oral B electric toothbrushes. If you shop around a bit, you will find large price differences. They offer whitening, sensitive gums, gum care, dual brush. I think anyone can find a great electric toothbrush at a value price with all models of Oral B Vitality. The difference in the titles are due to the brush type on that particular toothbrush, but all the same and work fantastic!

I have used the Crest Spin brush for about 3 years and have had to replace the motorized portion only once when the black O-ring on the battery compartment broke. Otherwise, I am extremely satisfied and feel it is worth the price paid.
